Job Purpose:
Talent Systems is seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to execute our B2B and B2C lifecycle marketing campaigns, including email, in-app message, mobile push and SMS. This role covers strategy, execution, creative development, deployment, and performance analysis for campaigns that drive engagement, retention and conversion for our casting and crew-hiring platforms, making it a unique opportunity at the intersection of entertainment and tech.
The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented email marketing expert with strong copywriting, analytics, and design sensibilities, comfortable with email coding and data-driven optimization.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and optimize end-to-end email, in-app, and mobile marketing campaigns with measurable results.
- Own email marketing strategy for designated projects, from conceptualization to execution, including creative and copy production, automation setup, and deployment.
- Build, monitor, analyze and optimize data-driven automated emails, leveraging attributes like location, profile details, and onsite behaviors to enhance targeting and engagement.
- Ensure delivery of comprehensive weekly, monthly, and annual reports for all email campaigns and customer segments, using native reporting tools in our marketing automation platform, e-commerce platform, Google Analytics, etc.
- Develop dashboards to analyze email engagement rates and identify opportunities to drive conversions and improve customer engagement.
- Prepare and present executive-level reports and presentations covering email strategy, campaign performance, and the long-term email marketing roadmap.
- Partner closely with Customer Support, Success and Product Marketing to ensure email content, tone, and product details are accurate and on-brand.
- Partner with developers to ensure customer data is flowing into our marketing automation platforms at the right frequency and in the right format, and to build new data integrations and APIs.
- Perform continuous A/B tests to iterate and improve upon email results, including documenting and socializing key learnings, and developing a champion/challenger roadmap.
- Proactively devise new ideas and contribute insights and strategies to constantly improve our email program.
- Must be willing to work across multiple brands and adhere to disparate creative best practices and a unique voice for each brand.
- Ensure optimal deliverability and compliance with global anti-spam legislation, including CAN-SPAM GDPR, and CASL.
- Conduct email quality assurance across devices and platforms to ensure flawless execution.
- Stay informed of industry trends and make recommendations on new email tools, techniques and best practices.
Qualifications & Attributes:
- 5 years of proven success in email marketing and marketing campaign management with primary ownership of creative, strategy, email marketing technology, and driving measurable results.
- Strong handle of marketing automation platforms; applicants with experience in Braze, Iterable or Shopify will be given preference.
- Strong comfort level working with data, developing dashboards, running database queries, and working in Google Analytics, Looker Studio and Google Sheets.
- Proficiency with HTML, CSS, email coding, and data integrations such as APIs, Liquid and webhooks.
- Extremely detail-oriented with strong copywriting skills and an eye for good design.
- Experimentation experience and attitude with a consistent track record of implementing A/B tests, optimizing campaigns and translating data into insights
- You have an eye for detail, ensuring the accuracy of all copy, links, and template designs in various inbox environments
- You believe in the power of digital marketing and are passionate about the ability of digital engagement to create lasting customer relationships
- You are highly collaborative and have experience engaging with teams cross-functionally
- You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field; MBA or quantitative degree a plus.
